Microsoft
Education
Web site
Microsoft had recently started
an initiative called "Microsoft Education Connected
Learning" for network administrators in educational
institutions large and small. For educators, keeping components
compatible is a constant challenge. So Microsoft decided to offer
a Web site for information about independently tested, reliably
compatible networking elements for education. Needless to say,
Microsoft Education Connected Learning also needed a new name.
Keeping some of the program's heritage, we proposed the name
"ConnectEd" and helped create the Web site, which
resides within the Microsoft corporate site. Now educational IT
people have a single source for information about compatible
components. And the program has a name to remember.
