150th Anniversary Brand relaunch
To revive the original Northwest beer after decades of decline, we began with a birthday party-a celebration of the brand's 150th anniversary. That included magazine and newspaper ads, a website featuring the brand's history in an animated timeline, and a complete online strategy ranging from animated banners to search and social media. We produced a 150th anniversary bottle cap with the Web address printed inside. All of it kicked off with big press events in Portland and Seattle that garnered TV news segments, local newspaper stories and a full issue of Portland Monthly magazine. A nicely integrated two-month campaign-and it worked, driving up sales for the first time in years.
