From my sweet years writing at DDB's Hawaii office. First Hawaiian is the nicer, more flexible of the two large banks in the Islands. So we produced a dozen of these loosely scripted, fun, man-on-the-street interviews with local folks. All close with an affirmation: "Yes You Can", suggesting the good service and sense of empowerment you can get from the bank. As the campaign ran, the bank's market share and stock price both rose.
