State of Washington (GET Program)
Branding and Marketing Campaign
When Washington joined the ranks
of states offering special savings accounts to families pressed
by college costs rising at triple the rate of inflation, I named
the program ("GET Program"-for Guaranteed Education Tuition,
and to suggest the way it helps one get an education) then I
wrote a website and these two brochures to explain it, along
with a tagline, "Tomorrow's Tuition at Today's Prices". The
whole campaign was warm and user-friendly.
Results? The GET Program launched
to rave reviews. Thousands of families signed up immediately,
and many thousands more have subscribed in the several years
since.
