I came in when this successful Idaho catalog retailer made the move to e-commerce in 1996. At the time, I conceived and wrote the whole Web site with the help of the company's art director and head programmer. For the first year the site was mostly just an online brochure for company info, directions to the company store in Sandpoint and so on. Then the e-commerce tsunami hit. I returned to rewrite and redirect the site toward a full-scale transactional online retail catalog. Since then, the company has opened several large urban retail stores and its stock has risen dramatically, even weathering the dot-com market crash in fine style.
